Over 30 engaged Impact100 WA donors (along with a couple of their friends) came along on the 12th June for our 2024 1st Assessment Evening. Robin’s famous sausage rolls and Rocky Road were once again hugely appreciated and helped to fuel the presentations and discussions of the initiatives that had made it through our Preliminary assessment.
Of course, we all have our favourites, as well as our different opinions on what is important, and this is the beauty of collaborative giving – that the decision is made by the whole group. Utilising the wonders of technology meant that actually making our votes was rigourous and yet straightforward.
Then the atmosphere in the room grew tense, as we collated the proxy votes with our in-room votes to finally arrive at our Top Ten for 2024…
And we are delighted to announce that the following organisations will be invited to submit a Full Application and then undergo site visits in August with small groups of interested donors:
ADHD WA – Supporting Regional Children with Sparkly Brains (ADHD WA Regional Outreach Project)
Carbon Positive Australia – Miyawaki Forest Capacity Building
