Arts Law – Artists in the Black – Wills and Intestacy – free advice and education on legal rights and will drafting. 7 trips to 18 communities across remote WA, assisting 520 people. Tailored to address the specific needs of ATSI arts communities.
Cycling Without Age – More Rides, More People, More Places – Perth expansion with purchase of ute and part time co-ordinator. To enable: 2,160 more passengers to ride, more volunteers to take part and raise the profile of CWA.
Eat Up Australia – Feeding hungry school children in WA – provide 94,600 free lunches to disadvantaged kids in 100 schools over 12 months in Perth metro and regional communities.
Edmund Rice Centre WA – North-East Metro Sport and Leadership Development Pgm – free after school sports pgms over 18 months – over 200 kids – 5 to 18 yr olds who are disengaged, underserviced, vulnerable groups.
Family Inclusion Network WA – Peer-led Self-Advocacy Workshops – peers co-design workshops for families involved with child protection. Info, support, resources to build confidence and strategies. Help 100 families over 2 yrs.
Millennium Kids – Nutha Way Youth Hub activation – in partnership with Coolgardie kids and Police. To fit out the hub, do an arts mural, garden design and creation, make a film. 100 kids to benefit (plus community).
Propel Youth Arts – Pivot: Tighten up your business skills to make your arts practice flourish – build capacity in young and emerging artists to make careers sustainable and commercially viable. Symposium, mentorships, bursary, online toolkit. 119 paid opportunities, 1012 beneficiaries (plus online).
Special Olympics WA – Inclusive Sport in Schools and Communities WA pgm – to benefit 1500 people with intellectual disability. Provide schools with training, resources and support. Also support students into community or Special Olympics sports pgms.
Trillion Trees – Healing Australia’s wheatbelt, one tree at a time – over 12 months run 10 weekend Planting Festivals with 150 volunteers each, to plant total of 300,000 seedlings. Benefiting environment, increasing awareness of bio-diversity crisis and fun engagement for many many volunteers.
Uni Camp for Kids – Uni Camp for Kids: Summer Camps – three free week-long camps for underprivileged children. To benefit 300 children and 130 volunteers. Funds to cover – activities, nutritious meals, some of accommodation costs, extra to enable 20 regional kids to attend.
